Barry has had the honor of serving as the youth and children’s pastor at Southview Christian Church for over 5 years. He does not claim to be a real smart guy, but in case you are interested, after attending Harding University, Barry completed his Financial Business degree at Florida Southern College in 2000. He has been blessed to serve in the Youth and Children’s Ministries at North Lake Church of Christ and Lawrence Heights Christian Church before joining Southview’s staff in 2015. 

Barry is an avid golfer who enjoys sports of all kinds; playing, watching or coaching. He enjoys fishing, grilling, woodworking and spending time with his wife Megan and son Isaac. He has a few mottos to live by:

- "Leftovers are for quitters."

- "Give me coffee or give me death!"

- "Jesus loves you and I'm trying."

Above all, Barry has a passion for mentoring and leading youth and children to a relationship with the Lord that lasts a lifetime. His commitment is to love God and love others.
